We are designed to be successful. We start out as children with big hopes, dreams and no limits. Living in today's world as an adult has many complications and makes life more challenging. It can wear us down.

We can stop this from happening if we keep our eye on the "prize." I means learning, organizing and applying what we know we can truly be.

Go back to those thoughts as a youth. Think about how you felt and what you wanted BEFORE some one criticized you or told you no.

Being hopeful and open to ideas...

Today I am hopeful for a lot of things...one thing in particular as I look out my window and see such a beautiful sunny day is that I am hopeful for spring and summer (meaning warmer weather, sunshine, beaches, long relaxing runs, playing basketball outside with the kids).

I bring up the word hope because that is related to many people's financial situation as well.  They hope they make more money in the future, they hope they can save for college, they hope they can pay the mortgage next month.

I strongly believe that hope is important AND I strongly believe we must take the next step and take action for that hope to come to fruition.

Today is a day that you can open up to others and listen to their ideas.  Maybe you can learn something from them.  Of course, we have to be wise and cannot just go along with everything BUT at the same time we do not know everything.  We need to learn from others.  We need to hear their ideas of how more wealth can be generated.  We need to listen as to how they made their money and then we will develop ideas as to how we can do it for ourselves.  There might even be an opportunity to model them, we don't have to reinvent the wheel to make the money we want and need.

So just when I think there is no hope and I don't want to hear it from anyone else.  I take a step back and think..wait a minute...the sun will come up tomorrow, there is another chance for me to be where I want to be, I can learn a new system, a new way or about a project that someone has.  Maybe that is the opportunity that was put in front of me to evaluate and make a decision to move forward.
